Hi, I’m Jessica D’Alessandro, Board Certified Nurse Practitioner and founder of Restore Functional Wellness NP.
I created this practice because I believe healthcare should feel personal, supportive, and centered around you. So many people are left feeling unheard, rushed, or frustrated when they are searching for answers. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable sharing your story, asking questions, and feeling truly supported in your wellness journey.
I am passionate about taking a more holistic, root-cause approach to care. Rather than only focusing on symptoms, I want to understand the full picture — your health history, lifestyle, stress, habits, and goals — so we can work together to create a plan that feels realistic, personalized, and sustainable.
Through Restore Functional Wellness, I focus on functional medicine with an emphasis on gut health, hormones, lifestyle wellness, and whole-body healing. I believe that healing is not one-size-fits-all, and that every person deserves thoughtful care that reflects their individual needs and experiences.
My hope is that this practice feels like a place where you are listened to, encouraged, and empowered to take control of your health. Whether you are just beginning your wellness journey or looking for a deeper, more personalized approach, I am here to support you every step of the way.
The Heart Behind Restore Functional Wellness
—
Healing is not,
one-size-fits-all solution
—
Some people begin to notice changes quickly, while others need deeper evaluation and continued support over time. My commitment is to provide thoughtful, compassionate care that helps you feel heard, supported, and empowered every step of the way.
Diet
What you eat plays an important role in how your body functions, heals, and feels each day. Nutrition can influence energy, digestion, hormones, inflammation, and overall wellness.
Exercise
Movement supports circulation, metabolism, strength, stress relief, and overall health. The goal is to find realistic, sustainable ways to help your body feel stronger and more supported.
Sleep
Quality sleep is essential for restoration, recovery, and balance. Poor sleep can affect mood, stress levels, hormones, energy, and the body’s ability to heal.
Environment
Your environment can have a meaningful impact on your health, from daily exposures to the spaces where you live and work. Looking at these factors can help us better understand possible contributors to how you feel.
Balance
True wellness comes from looking at the full picture and understanding how each piece works together. When diet, sleep, movement, environment, and stress are addressed as a whole, it creates space for more sustainable healing and lasting wellness.
Stressors
Stress affects the body in many ways, including digestion, sleep, hormones, mood, and energy. Identifying and addressing stressors is an important part of creating a more balanced foundation for health.
